About coins and Robert

Coins with the image of Robert Lewandowski

The idea for coins with Robert Lewandowski was created in 2020. The Gdańsk Mint is the only one in the world that has been granted the rights to issue collector coins with the image of Robert Lewandowski.

On March 30, 2022, the premiere of the first coins in the series took place.

Silver collector coins are characterized by a very high relief and interesting accessories, such as a porcelain ball-shaped insert. Each coin is packed with a certificate of authenticity in an elegant box. Collector's coins are also characterized by a limited mintage, emphasizing their uniqueness. The mintage of each 2 oz silver coin is 3000 pieces, 1 kg coins - 200 pieces. The outlay will never be increased.

Coins with Robert Lewandowski are full-fledged coins - they have a face value and a government guarantee. Due to Polish law, only Narodowy Bank Polski has the option of issuing coins with a currency expressed in zlotys. For this reason, our coins have a denomination in New Zealand dollars, and their authenticity and legality are guaranteed by the government of the island of Niue. The head of this island is the head of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, therefore the obverse of the coins must contain inscriptions in English.

The following versions will appear in the series:

  • Silver, 2 oz Ag - 6 coins
  • Silver, 1 kg Ag - 4 coins
